Samantha Madhosingh, Ph.D.
Dr. Samantha Madhosingh is a Senior Consultant and Executive Coach with JONES, a firm that specializes in leadership development, diversity and inclusion and organizational development. The mission of JONES is to “develop leaders and organizational systems that counter oppression through diversity, inclusion, and organizational effectiveness.” 

Dr. Madhosingh is a Licensed Psychologist, Bestselling Author, & Speaker. She received her doctorate in professional psychology from The George Washington University and has dedicated more than 20 thousand hours to researching, understanding, & solving the infinite possibilities of human potential, behavior, & performance.

Dr. Madhosingh has worked in a variety of mental health care settings, providing mental health and crisis services at a men’s correctional facility; providing prevention, early intervention and treatment services to inner city middle/high school youth; managing a clinical program to oversee the mental health care of youth in residential treatment around the US; and directing multiple programs at a residential treatment center for adolescents. Dr. Madhosingh has also served as an adjunct faculty member at GWU.

A contributing expert for Huffington Post, she is the author of the bestselling book, Strike it Happy! 101 Reflections to Revolutionize Your Life, the Strike it Happy! Dr. Madhosingh has been the coordinating expert in school-based crises in the Washington, D.C. public and charter schools, as well as national and international disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. She is passionate about supporting teens and college aged students more easily transition into adulthood and overcome the hurdles to gaining independence. She also assists parents regarding any emotional or behavioral issues they may be concerned about with their adolescent. She has worked for more than 15 years with young people coping with issues related to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, peer problems, bullying, complicated family dynamics/divorce, substance abuse, cutting, teen pregnancy and sexuality/sexual health.
